Conservation of water and energy
Portable Steam Boilers produce steam, the same as all boilers produce steam. When the steam collapses or condensates, the remaining water is called condensate.
The condensate is beneficial. It is a product of clean steam, and condensate contains heat. The condensate turns into clean hot water. Recycling the condensate saves on the costs of fuel, water, and chemical treatment.
Clean or not, condensate does not need to hang around. If stuck in the steam lines it can cause hammering, corrosion, and other ill effects.
Many times it is good to recapture the condensate and put it through the boiler as feed water.
